This adorable little man is my second cousin and I had such a blast photographing him. We had this natural light session at my grandparents house near Asheville, NC while my cousin was visiting from San Francisco for the holidays.
I decided when I first started shooting professional portraits that I wanted to be a natural light photographer. Why? Well, people look best in natural light. I really believe that. I do have a flash and I use it on occasion, but it is very rare. Since I specialize in newborns and babies I am hesitant to use a flash during those sessions. I have no idea if using a flash on a baby is actually bad, but just in case! So if you’re interested in a natural light newborn or baby session, let me know!
